I have been noticing a calling from my closet
"Please please, hello, hello Jill, we are sagging, can you do something here, we are perilouly close to loosing our hold of the wall that is keeping us up."
"oh yeah, gee I see. " One of the wall fasteners is torn free,
Weight, I have not been considering weight in my closet organization. Ah oh, I put my books up on the long top shelf, hum maybe clothes would be lighter up there. I commence to take down the books and invariably the question " Do I still need these? comes up.
The word "erudite" comes into my head. What does that mean? I write it in my new word book and look it up on the web - "having or showing knowledge that is learned by studying"
How often do we think of knowledge as gained from books - yet we are each a book of study, our life, is a study. The definition of study...
1. the activity or process of learning about something by reading, memorizing facts, attending school, etc.:
2.an area of learning taught in a school
3. something that a person studies or gives attention to
I like the idea of what we give our attention to, that gives a clue what is valuable As multidimensional souls, our attention can be in many points - of interest - some we are aware of, and some unconsciously - consuming - our awareness,
Something I have learned with my brain injury is to call back my attention, like a kind mother to her exuberant curious child, "hey come on back now" I wish I could make that cool whistle, you know the one.
I watch and discover I have been trying to solve a few problems that are not even in present time, things that are not even mine to solve, or in someone elses ideas, that is a common hang out of mine. I can choose to forgive myself here, and as I do this, I become more focused here and now.
This is part of the self inquiry, study, gaining knowledge - of knowing thyself.
Are you erudite in book knowledge or soul knowledge?
Tool for the day Call your energy back ( you can use your imagination, imagine a big bubble with a magnet in it, and program it to collect your energy and when it is full that it will pop above your head and you will reabsorb it as needed ) Do this as often as you can remember, make it a daily practice, and notice how you feel.
